I specialize in starting young horses under saddle so they can go on to be a calm, light, responsive, willing partner for their owners.

Colts learn ground manners, how to pick up their feet, stand to be saddled, bridled, mounted and dismounted as well as the basics of following his nose, walk, trot, lope, "woah" and back up. Depending on how quickly your colt pick's everything up, he could also learn to move the hip and shoulder, sidepass, neckrein and been out on some trails.

Your colt will learn in a relaxed environment where the training is set at the horses own learning pace. I encourage the owner to come out at least once at the end of the training and learn what your horse knows. This is so when your horse goes home you know how to work and understand your horse.
